Garden Club is an extracurricular club open to City Honors students of all grade levels. During the academic year, meetings are held in the garden on Wednesdays after school from 2:45-3:45 PM. Students must arrange their own pick-up. Meetings are held regularly during the warmer months (weather permitting). During the colder months, periodic indoor Garden Club meetings are scheduled as projects arise.
Club members engage the garden at a deeper level than they might in class. They select the types of foods we will grow each season, advocate for school gardens, harvest and sample edibles, make seasonal art, and examine plants.
